Sarah discusses her jaw dropping career journey, and how her early discipline in education kickstarted her ambitions to get her to where she is today. Sarah Elizabeth Hill is the Founder of Bobi Media, the digital media agency. She was born in Fort Worth, Texas and attended The University of Oklahoma for Writing and Journalism from 2006 – 2010. After school, Sarah worked for Al Jazeera English news network in Washington, D.C. and then moved into startups, working in digital media for clients like HBO, Nike, and more. In 2013 Sarah moved to New York City where she was the Social Media Manager for Metlife’s Super Bowl XLVII. Sarah then began work for another startup, The Reading Room. Eventually, Sarah was asked to step-up and be the CEO of The Reading Room. She relaunched and rebranded the company to Bookstr.com, developing many international media partnerships. In 2018 Sarah left Bookstr to start her own digital media agency, Bobi Media – named after her grandmother. The company has now worked with over 100 well-known clients including artists, publishers, actors, authors, retailers, websites, startups, non-profits, banks, style sites, healthcare companies, and more. Outside of work Sarah enjoys running, gardening, exploring New York, and spending time with her dog, Hudson.
